Tuesday Trivia 9/9/14

Hey folks,

So...it's been a long day, and Mr. C's brain isn't working right. I feel like Jack from Miss Stretchberry's class...

"I can't do it. Brain won't work."

Anyway, that means it's the first in a series of Tuesday Trivia called, "Stump Mr. C."

YOU need to try to bring in 1-3 trivia questions that you think I won't know the answer to. For each question I answer incorrectly, you get a good buck.

This week: Your category is US HISTORY. Come up with questions about American history to try and stump Mr. C.

Good luck!

Monday Math Facts and Tuesday Trivia (a bit late)

Hey folks,

Sorry for the delay. Our first "Monday Math Facts" will be the 3x table. Remember, if you can recite the entire table (saying, "three times one is three, three times two is six, three times three is nine",) in 20 seconds or less on Friday, you can earn good bucks! Good luck practicing!

3 x 1 = 3
3 x 2 = 6
3 x 3 = 9
3 x 4 = 12
3 x 5 = 15
3 x 6 = 18
3 x 7 = 21
3 x 8 = 24
3 x 9 = 27
3 x 10 = 30
3 x 11 = 33
3 x 12 = 36

Tuesday Trivia:

In class, you're earning good bucks (and maybe earning some from this post) for good behaviors. On REAL, AMERICAN currency, there are a bunch of former presidents and great Americans on our paper bills.
A. Who is on the five dollar bill?
B. Then Ten?
C. The hundred dollar bill?

Bring in your answers tomorrow! Good luck!

Tuesday Trivia...a day late (8/20/14)

Hey folks!

First, I apologize for not putting trivia on the blog last night! I forgot! It's a new school year, and I haven't updated for a while...

Second, let me thank all of you who visited the blog to check! This is a great place to find out important announcements, as well as earn some good bucks for Monday Math Facts and Tuesday Trivia. That being said, here's the first trivia of the year...

Today in Science, we were discussing how "air is dense, and has mass." Air is a mixture of gases, and some gases are heavier than others. That's why when you climb to the top of a 14,000 ft peak in CO, you can't breath very well! There's less oxygen!

So...my question is:
A. What is the tallest peak in Colorado?
B. What's the tallest peak in the continental United States?
C. What's the tallest peak in North America?

Get you answers in tomorrow morning to win a prize!
